Kate Moss For Topshop: 5 Things You Need To Know About The Collection

Kate Moss For Topshop
After a four-year hiatus, Kate Moss is back in the design seat for Topshop. And now we only have 21 days and counting before the collection hits stores around the world on April 30. We were promised a collection that would 'celebrate Kate', and the supermodel has certainly delivered. Here's what to expect from the collection.

1. That yellow dress is back When Kate Moss wore a vintage lemon yellow chiffon dress on a night out in New York back in 2003, it quickly (and unexpectedly) became one of her most iconic. Kate created a similar one in white for her first collection for Topshop, but the 2014 version is even closer to the original. Plus, it comes in green, too, so hopefully we won't all be wearing the same one come summer. (Bagsy the yellow.)

2. Balearic Dressing is a thing No, it's not something to put on your salad leaves, rather a section of the collection dedicated to Kate's favourite holiday destination: the Balearic Islands. Fear not, we're sure you can wear the Aztec-print dress, floaty kaftan and teeny, tiny shorts to any sunny place of your choosing if Ibiza isn't on the menu this year.

3. Fringing is everywhere Seen on jackets – be they suede, leather or satin, flapper-style dresses, and a bolero. One thing's for sure: this collection's all about movement. We'll be shimmying and swishing our way from the office to the bar to the dance floor this summer. Just steer clear of naked flames.

4. There's a £600 showstopper Kate Moss has taken her collection high-end this time around, with a standout beaded maxi dress that will be available exclusively on Net-a-porter.com. And it's got a price tag to match. Costing £600, this might take a little more justification in the bank department than your average Topshop purchase. Better get saving.

5. Eveningwear is all about lux tailoring Actually, this is called Tailoring Noir, according to the press release. Which has a better, more sultry ring to it. This season is all about the long satin slip for night, thanks to our ongoing obsession with all things 90s. Team with a tux jacket a la Kate (obvs, there's one in the collection, too), and you're good to go.

Airport Style: 5 Ways To Get It Right

Celebrity Airport Styles From Truejeanscom
From the red double-breasted coat to the serious arm candy (aka George) Kate Middleton looked impeccable as she stepped off the plane for the Royals’ first stop down under. If, like us, you’re not lucky enough to have an adorable toddler to accessorise with, here are five celebrity-approved ways to get ready for a stylish landing.

1. The Sunglasses It’s a fact, sunglasses hide all manner of sins. Whether you spent the whole flight peacefully sleeping in first or trying to ignore the screaming children in the back, no one will ever know. Chloe Moretz shows us how to do it right.

2. The Bomber Jacket An in-flight essential, the bomber is this season’s jacket du jour and perfect for those long haul flights. Rosie Huntington Whitely loves her printed Stella McCartney number and so do we.

3. The High Tops We’ll give it to her, Victoria Beckham knows how to accessorise her suitcase with 6 inch stilettos but that doesn’t mean you have to. Get off-duty glam a la Heidi Klum who looks just as good rocking high tops.

4. The Pop of Colour The sneaky way to airport perfection? Add a colour pop bag. Quick, easy and attention grabbing. We can’t get enough of Lupita’s red Miu Miu satchel. We’re giving her extra style points for matching it to her red lippy.

5. The Fedora Frizz. It happens to the best of us. But if, unlike Kate Middleton, you don’t have a dedicated in-flight de-frizzer, do what we do and don a fedora. If it’s good enough for Jessica Alba, it’s good enough for us.

Cameron Diaz Gives The LBDs A Break And Ramps Up The Glamour In Germany

In Or Out: Cameron Diaz
Cameron Diaz gave her usual red carpet uniform a miss in favour of a gold Emilio Pucci mini dress at the premiere of The Other Woman in Munich last night. Having found what works for her, the 41-year-old actress doesn’t strive far from a leg-showing LBD – and we don’t blame her, given how good she always looks.

But with glamorous co-stars Kate Upton and Leslie Mann creeping up in the style stakes, the rom-com star pulled out all the stops for her latest appearance.

Not only did the embellished design show off her enviable figure, but it complemented her golden tan and chic, no-fuss ponytail and natural make-up. Meanwhile, Upton and Mann both opted for a touch of classic Hollywood glamour with their satin dresses, retro-inspired curls and red lipstick.

So far on the promo tour for The Other Woman, Diaz has kept it strictly black with LBDs from The Row, Dior, Elie Saab and Giambattista Valli. Phew! The most colour that Cameron has injected into her premiere wardrobe was a dove grey Victoria Beckham number. But perhaps the tide is turning. We can’t wait to see what she chooses next.
